Performs the essential duties and responsibilities of a pharmacy intern under the direct supervision of a pharmacy preceptor. Ensure the accurate delivery of medications to the appropriate hospital personnel in a timely fashion. Monitors medication usae and ensures the most appropriate and cost effective drug therapy is utilized. Monitors drug/drug, drug/disease and drug/food interactions. The pharmacy intern will be responsible for ensuring proper storage of medications as well as maintaining correct medication charges. Must have a current State of Texas Registration as a Pharmacy Intern.
The PRN rate for this position is $19.10/hr.
